Super-Releaser is an innovation acceleration company. We combine rapid prototyping, creative technology, and applied science to provide breakthroughs as a service.
We make scalable research and development plans to deliver technologies on your timeline.
We use lean iterations and field testing to help you leap technical challenges quickly.
We use integrated design tools to infuse expertise from every corner of your team into your product.
Our Process
We draw from a wide range of expertise to solve problems that need to get solved. We’ve built a six-step process called Heterodox Design (HEX) that is flexible enough to match problems across industries and rigorous enough to produce tangible results on strict deadlines.
This process begins with a wide survey of the problem space to understand the nature of the problem itself. Then, it moves into interdisciplinary research — interviewing domain experts in diverse fields to identify what’s been tried before and solutions that may exist in unexpected places. After that, we play, iterate, and test in rapid cycles to develop systems and evaluate them against the problem. We then refine the design — looking forward into available avenues for production to clear the way for scaling and implementation. Finally, we evaluate as the design scales to tune production, course correct, and stay on target.
Our Services
We provide consulting, development, and prototyping services to companies all the way from stealth startups to Fortune 500’s. If you’re looking to bring your technology to a new level fast, we’re here for you. We can help you mesh complex systems together — like refining your wearable device to work seamlessly with bodies of all shapes and sizes. We can integrate findings generated across diverse areas of your team into a beautiful whole.

services we provide
We use a quick iterative cycle of research, fabrication, and evaluation to advance technologies. Since atoms are harder to move around than bits, we’ve invented methods for digitally fabricating objects in a wide range of materials from silicone elastomers to kevlar reinforced fabric so we can build hardware that doesn’t lag behind software.
Ultimately, your work is about touching lives. Whether it’s making sure a handle is easy to turn no matter the user’s age, or an astronaut is able to distinguish fasteners by texture through their gloves, we know how to put people first. We’re invested in sociology, physical prototyping, and manufacturing to make designs work for people.
Human Factors Engineering
From literature review, to system mapping, to user testing, it takes real conceptual work to ensure a product performs out in the real world. We’ve got the advantage of years of experience applying these techniques on the job and in workshops with both clients and students.
Product Optimization
Emerging Technology Prototyping
Industrial design is more than modeling swoopy enclosures and piecing them up for injection molding. The processes behind every product (assembly, installation, updating, cleaning) can be more important than the portion the user interacts with. That’s why we optimize these processes and make them work right from the beginning.
Design for Excellence
Compliant mechanisms are ideal for meshing with the human body, adapting to highly variable conditions, and bouncing back from impacts that would wreck a rigid structure. We’ve spent deep time in the field designing and releasing novel soft machines. You could say we wrote the book on soft robotics.
