Super-Releaser at the NYC Soft Robotics Technology Group meetup

Yesterday evening Super-Releaser Lead Scientist Matthew Borgatti gave a presentation to the NYC Soft Robotics Technology group on the state of our research and new practical applications for soft robots. It was a great opportunity for us to show off the Neucuff, our MCP wrist dam research, and the latest open source gripper we've been developing.

Matthew was joined by Prof. Peter Allen of Columbia University's Robotics Group speaking on simulating soft materials for improving robotic gripping and compliant material handling (a presentation on teaching Baxter to pick up, analyze, iron, and fold laundry) and Jonathan Daudelin of Cornell University's Sibley School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering talking about the state of the art in modular robotics.
